What’s in it for me?
Want the freedom to set your own schedule and make good money? With us you pick only the rooms you want to clean and when. The hourly base rate varies by city but it’s about C$26.00 in major metros. More for premium services like “No-show Cover On-Demand”
How is the hourly rate determined?
This varies per city. The range we see is $21-$31 per hour excluding premium services. Premium service like “No- show cover on demand” can pay higher.
How do I increase my rate of pay per room?
Working in properties with high certification requirements and working at times when there are too few cleaners available will earn you higher rates per hour or per verified clean room. Sometimes significantly higher.
Is there a rating system?
Yes. Properties rate Cleaner Partners for their quality of work and good attitude. Cleaner Partners rate Property Partners for their quality of work environment and attitude. This can be done anonymously. Ratings can be challenged but there is a small fee to do this beyond your “challenge allowance”.
Who provides the cleaning equipment and supplies?
The property provides these. Hsekeepers report to the hotel Housekeeping Department at the beginning of their shift to receive their cart and supplies.
How do I sign up?
Go to hsekeeper.com/cleanerpartnersignup and complete the process there.
What is the process?
You complete an online application. We vet your application which can be quite straightforward if you have verifiable housekeeping references. If you do not have acceptable hotel housekeeping references we will not be able to work with you.
How do I accept a contract room-day to clean?
This is covered in your onboarding, but its one click to add it to your account.
Equipment and supplies?
The hotel will provide you with industry standard equipment, supplies and a room attendant cart. If they require that you wear a uniform, or any other extras, they will provide those, plus a locker, at the beginning of each shift.
When do I get paid?
Once a week. So twice as fast as most regular employment.
How is a contracted room verified clean?
Once you have completed the steps specified in the training for the room and are satisfied your work is of excellent quality, you mark the room clean in the Hsekeeper app on your smartphone. The property then checks your work and verifies the room as clean. The property has 4 hours to perform this check or the Hsekeeper app marks the room verified clean on their behalf.
How do I get paid?
We make a direct deposit into the bank account you provide.

Can I run this as my own cleaning business, with staff?
Yes. We would be very happy to help with this! We have training to help you start a Cleaner Partner Business with us. We help you apply for government grants, connect you with certified staff if possible, and offer other supports to help you start-up.
Do you provide training?
We do not provide training. We do offer general and brand-specific training-check and certification sessions for no charge, subject to availability.
Is getting certified worth it?
Some jobs requiring the tougher certifications generate more pay.
Do you have cleaners available?
We have certified brand experienced room attendants! We are the “Uber” for hotel room cleaning.
How do I post room-shifts for cleaning?
Login to your property’s account and click post room shifts. Follow the prompts. You will be shown more during your hotel’s onboarding.
What is a room shift?
It is a hotel housekeeping shift. these are available in 2, 4, 6 and 8 hour durations.
When is the deadline for setting the schedule?
You tell us. You can set this for a set period before each shift or have no deadline. Just publish your shift with the date and its scheduled. When a Hsekeeper takes the shift, you’ll be notified.
How do I know a room is clean?
This works the same way it does for your full-time housekeepers.

Is there a rating system?
Yes. Properties rate Cleaner Partners for their quality of work and good attitude. Cleaner Partners rate Property Partners for their quality of work environment and attitude. This can be done anonymously.
Is there a way to increase how many Cleaner Partners see my rooms for cleaning?
Yes. For any shift posted you can set a pay rate higher than normal and this will boost attention to your shift.
Your property’s Cleaner Partner rating also helps your visibility.

Please provide industry standard equipment supplies and a room attendant cart. If you require a uniform to be worn or any other extras, please provide those at the beginning of each shift. If changing into a uniform is required please provide industry standard changing facilities and a locker for each cleaner partner for each shift-engagement.
What is the cost?
Its free to post shifts and to have an account.
Hsekeepers cost hotels less than part-timers on the same rate.
This is because of savings on recruitment and other items. Exact pricing on application.
When your shift is completed the platform charges for the work, just like Uber.
